We’re building the Go West Yorkshire Elite Driver Academy, a new training programme designed to develop the next generation of professional bus drivers for West Yorkshire.
When recruitment opens, the academy will offer skilled drivers the opportunity to begin a rewarding career in public transport, helping to connect communities and keep West Yorkshire moving. Whether you’re new to the industry or considering a career change, we’ll provide the training, support and development needed to build confidence behind the wheel and deliver great customer service.
As part of The Go-Ahead Group, we’re developing a high-quality training experience that will equip future drivers with the knowledge, skills and behaviours required to operate safely, professionally and confidently. Our focus will be on much more than learning to drive a bus. We’ll help our drivers develop the customer service, safety and operational skills needed to deliver excellent journeys for our customers every day.
