- Use historic bus-tracking data, including CitySwift, to support punctuality improvements.
- Prepare schedule data within the company mileage system.
- Support the accurate and timely publication of schedules and ticket-machine data.
- Maintain the integrity and accuracy of timetable and schedule information across internal and external systems.
- Provide scheduling expertise for franchise bids, mobilisation activity and wider commercial projects.
- Work with operational colleagues to make sure schedules are practical, compliant and considerate of driver retention.

We’re keen to hear from individuals who can demonstrate:
- Considerable experience using bus scheduling software to produce timetables, bus workings, duties and rosters.
- Strong knowledge of UK domestic drivers’ hours and relevant regulatory requirements.
- An analytical and logical approach to complex scheduling information.
- Experience creating cost-effective schedules while balancing operational and customer requirements.
- Knowledge of the West Yorkshire bus network, or a commitment to developing this knowledge.
- Excellent attention to detail and a strong understanding of the importance of accurate data.
- The ability to explain complex scheduling information clearly and simply.
- Strong organisational skills and the ability to work effectively under pressure.
- Experience working collaboratively across commercial, operational, engineering and finance teams.
- Experience of working in a unionised environment.
- Strong written, verbal and interpersonal skills.
- A customer-focused approach and a commitment to working in partnership with WYCA.
- Knowledge of HASTUS would be beneficial, but it isn’t essential.
